Sarah Atkin founded Beyond Care Home Care Services out of firsthand experience with the gaps in non-medical home care in South Carolina. As a Registered Nurse with over 20+ years of clinical experience, she had seen families struggle to find home care that was truly dependable, professionally managed, and compassionately delivered.

Her solution was to build it herself — a company where every caregiver is a vetted, trained employee; where clinical oversight is built into operations from the top; and where families in the Upstate region could trust that someone with real healthcare experience was accountable for the quality of care their loved ones received.

Today, Beyond Care operates from two offices in Honea Path and Williamston, serving families across the Upstate region. Nurse oversight remains central to how the company operates — with care quality reviewed through regular supervisory visits and a clinical lens built into every level of the organization.
